Tobacco tins from the late 1890's to the early 1930's were some of the most attractive small tins ever made.  They were used by advertisers to boast their products and smokers were drawn to them by their beuatiful artwork.  They could be refilled and reused over and over again so they became prized possessions for many smokers.

Some tins were made to hold as few as just 10 cigarettes and small tobacconists would commission tin makers to produce specially made tins just for their brands.  These flat 10's as they are known are some of the rarest and most desirable.

I especially love picture tins that give some insight into social history of the day.  Here I have tried to group some by theme to make them easier to browse.  I hope you enjoy browsing them.   They are all for sale so why not indulge yourself or give one to a friend.
